What your kilometre actually costs

Most new carriers take a load at a rate that looks good and only find out six months later that they hauled it at a loss. The reason is always the same: half the costs were never in the sum. Logistonomics adds them all — lease, insurance, service, tyres, the driver's gross plus employer contributions, empty running, detention — and gives you one number: the rate below which you must not take freight.

Cost per km — all of it, not just diesel

Fuel is less than half of what you spend. The rest is the lease or the loan, the insurance, service and tyres, the driver's wage with employer contributions, parking, the accountant, the phone. The service folds every line into one figure per kilometre and adds the minimum rate you must ask for.

Legal HGV routes with real tolls

The route is planned for a 40-tonne artic, not for a car: height, weight, axles, ADR tunnels and driving bans are all respected. Tolls are priced country by country, together with a refuelling plan — where to put in the minimum so you can reach the cheaper country.

VAT recovery — the 8th and 13th Directives

VAT on diesel and tolls can come back — but not from everywhere and not for everyone. A Ukrainian carrier cannot reclaim Polish or German VAT at all (no reciprocity), and the service says so plainly instead of showing money that will never arrive. Where a refund is real, it assembles the claim package by country and deadline.

Tachograph, payroll, documents, roles

.DDD analysis against Regulation 561/2006 — you see the infringements before an inspector does. Payslips with advances and per-diems. CMR, invoices, transport orders. Roles: a dispatcher never sees the margin, a mechanic sees no money at all.

What does it cost?

The cost-per-km calculator is free and needs no account. The full cabinet starts at €19/month for one truck. You pay for trucks: people, roles and logins are free, however many you have.

Which countries are covered?

40 markets: all 27 EU states plus Ukraine, the UK, Switzerland, Norway, Turkey, the Balkans, Moldova, Georgia, Azerbaijan and Armenia. VAT, tolls, social charges and driving bans are held per country.

Is it safe to put my company's data in?

The database and the photos sit in the EU (Ireland). Driver cards (.DDD) are never stored — the file is read in memory and deleted the same second. You can erase everything with one button, without asking support. Backed up every night.

Does it replace an accountant?

No. It tells you what your kilometre costs and whether a given load makes money. The figures are planning estimates and must be checked with your accountant and official sources.
